He was born in Bronx, N.Y., and moved to Port St. Lucie in 1999. He served in the Air Force, where he received the Air Force Achievement Medal, Outstanding Unit Award, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Overseas Long Tour Ribbon Longevity Service Award Ribbon and Air Force Training Ribbon. He earned a master's degree in criminal justice from Keiser University. He was employed by the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office for 12 years and recently was promoted to sergeant deputy. He received the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office Medal of Honor-Posthumously, Exceptional Duty, Unit Citation, Good Conduct, September 2004-Hurricane Medal.
Survivors include his wife, Holly of Port St. Lucie; two daughters, Brooklyn Simone and Jordan Lyndsey; his parents, William and Candy Morales of Port St. Lucie; three brothers Brian, Ken and Brad, all of Port St. Lucie; grandmother Romanita Rodriguez; and eight nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ruben Rodriguez, and grandparents, Enrigue Morales and Conchita Roman. Services: Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Monday, March 4, at Westside Baptist Church, 3361 S. Jenkins Road, Fort Pierce.
