Deputy Daniel Rivera, 32, was pronounced dead at 10:20 p.m. Saturday at Broward Health North hospital, according to sheriff’s spokeswoman Veda Coleman-Wright.
Rivera’s family is “grateful for the outpouring of support during this difficult time,” Coleman-Wright said in an emailed statement. “We ask that you continue to pray for Rivera's family and his BSO family.”
